Family owned and run

Looking for childcare centres Perth?

We’ve been here for over 30 years.

BCCC is a wonderful family-owned and run child care centre in Perth.

Since our opening in 1990, we’ve been building nurturing relationships and safe environments where every child feels seen, heard, and loved. From our family to yours, it’s a joy to look after your little ones and help them thrive.

What makes us so special?

We're a forest school.

Surrounded by nature in Perth's foothills, we think of ourselves as a forest school. We’re passionate about teaching children how to look after the environment and have a range of animals on the property that children love caring for. We spend a lot of time outdoors exploring plants, going on bush walks, digging, caring for our community garden, feeding our animals, collecting chicken eggs, teaching sustainable practices, and more.

We’re one big

happy family.

We’re an extension of your family and work closely with you throughout your child’s time here. We love sharing about what your child has learnt, explored, and discovered, and believe our strong communication with parents is why a lot of families choose us. From personalised daily schedules for babies to daily catch-ups at pick up time, we love talking with parents and getting to know your family, just as you get to know ours!

We engage a play-based approach.

Through the Reggio Emilia approach, supported but the Early Years Learning Framework, we foster curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. We utilise our gorgeous natural environment to create enriching, authentic experiences that children love engaging with. Children are encouraged to play and explore through self-guided learning, choosing what to engage with and when, as they become confident, self-aware individuals.
