There’s a room

just for you

Love-filled rooms for Babies, Toddlers, and Kindies.

Although we spend most of our time outside in a “classroom without walls” environment, we also have dedicated indoor spaces.

Here, children take on a range of dynamic indoor activities like music, dancing, art and craft, puzzles, books, and more. We also use these rooms to enjoy meals together, snuggle down for a nap, or simply rest before the next outdoor adventure.

Babies room (0 – 2)

The Babies Room is intentionally set up as a nurturing, home-like environment to support babies’ need for secure attachment. This ensures a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for children and their families, particularly as they settle in.

Our Educators provide maternal, personalised care and make time to understand your little one’s personality, preferences, eating and sleeping habits, and more. We’ll work with you to establish a schedule for your baby, and follow your home routine where possible. And, of course, we provide a stimulating play-based environment designed to support their development.

The Babies Room has a ratio of one adult to four babies.

Toddlers room (2 – 3)

We love toddlers — this is such an exciting age! Toddlers are developing amazing self-awareness, have boundless energy, and a willingness to learn about their environments and their peers. That’s why the activities in this room support the development of cognitive and gross motor skills, as well as language and a sense-of-self.

Toddlers explore and play in well-designed indoor environments and our beautiful natural surroundings. These are specifically designed to expose them to situations that foster cooperation, whilst stimulating curiosity, creativity, confidence, independence and self-help skills.

The Toddlers Room has a ratio of one adult to five toddlers.

Kindies room (3 – 5+)

Our Kindy Program is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). This means our programs are guided by the same principles children will be taught at school, making the transition to school a little easier.

We combine EYLF Learning Outcomes with our love of being outside and caring for our environment. The Kindies Room is a safe space where children can seek out knowledge and explore at their own pace. Our thought-provoking activities develop and strengthen motor skills, social and language skills, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, as well as respect for their surroundings.

The Kindies Room has a ratio of one adult to ten children.

What’s on the menu?

We’ve partnered with Nourished Beginnings

a leading team helping child care providers create healthy, simple, nourishing, educational, and fun meals. Our menu changes weekly, and every room enjoys nutritious, paddock-to-plate food created by our professional onsite Chef. Much of our food is grown right here in our gardens; children are even encouraged to collect their own eggs from our Hen House.

A sneek peak at our routine

Babies, Toddlers and Kindies all have slightly different routines. Although each day looks a little different, our flexible structure and routine helps children feel safe, secure, and comfortable. Here’s what a typical day looks like (remember, this will change slightly with each room).

  • 6:30am – 9:00am — Mixed-age grouping

The morning period provides children with flexibility during this quieter time of the day before heading to school or their designated rooms. This creates opportunities for younger children and older children to interact in a wide range of experiences and environments.

  • 9:00am – 9:30am — Morning tea

Children enjoy a healthy morning tea as part of our balanced menu, cooked and prepared onsite by our amazing culinary guru. Our nutritious morning tea has a variety of delicious seasonal fresh fruit and small yummy treat.

  • 9:30am – 11:00am — Learning

Children build social skills, problem-solving skills, physical skills, language, numeracy and literacy skills, and more. Experiences are developed around each child’s unique interests, personality, developmental needs. We provide them with many engaging learning environments as we access our amazing natural environment. Together, we explore natural bushland, jungle gyms, sand pits, gardens, designated messy areas, care for our animals.

  • 11:00 – 11:50am — Lunch

Having built a healthy appetite from the morning’s adventures, we’ll sit down to enjoy a healthy, homemade meal together — yum! Lunches change each day, but range from pasta to rice-based meals, healthy burgers, roast veggies, and more. We’ll remember to keep hydrated by sipping water while we eat. And to finish the meal, some apple to clean our teeth.

  • 11:50 – 2:00pm — Rest & relaxation

Rest and relaxation is vital for child development, so this is a dedicate quiet time, free from distraction as quiet music is played. For children still on one nap, this is a calming time where they can fall asleep (children in the Babies Room on multiple naps will have a personalised sleep schedule). Older children who no longer need a nap will be offered quiet-play activities, like reading, puzzles, or drawing.

  • 2:00 – 3:00pm — Learning

Children build social skills, problem-solving skills, physical skills, language, numeracy and literacy skills, and more. Experiences are developed around each child’s unique interests, personality, developmental needs. We provide them with many engaging learning environments as we access our amazing natural environment. Together, we explore natural bushland, jungle gyms, sand pits, gardens, designated messy areas, care for our animals.

  • 3:00 – 3:30pm — Afternoon tea

We sit down for our third meal of the day — another healthy masterpiece prepared in our onsite kitchen. This nutritious snack will include a variety of delicious seasonal fresh fruit and small yummy treat. Here, we love talking about our favourite part of the day so far and thinking about what we’d like to play with next.

  • 3:30 – 5:00pm — Learning

Children build social skills, problem-solving skills, physical skills, language, numeracy and literacy skills, and more. Experiences are developed around each child’s unique interests, personality, developmental needs. We provide them with many engaging learning environments as we access our amazing natural environment. Together, we explore natural bushland, jungle gyms, sand pits, gardens, designated messy areas, care for our animals.

  • 5:30pm – 6:30pm — Mixed-age grouping

As many of our friends have already gone home, we all join together in one area and engage in multi-age based activities, just like we did in the morning. Older children learn to be gentle and help the younger children, and younger children will love seeing their older friends, brothers and sisters around them to help and play.
